EA launches free-to-play Dungeon Keeper game

Electronic Arts has launched the remake of its classic 1997 PC title, Dungeon Keeper, releasing it for the Android and iOS mobile platforms.

Dungeon Keeper for Android and iOS is a free-to-download game that features an in-app purchase system. The game flaunts 3D graphics, and the overall design is consistent with the original title. The game is both a tower defence-style (when defending) with real-time strategy (when attacking) game.

The gameplay of Dungeon Keeper enables the player to build an underground nest and defend it against the enemy attacks. The enemies comprise trolls, demons, warlocks and others. Players can make the enemies enter a torture chamber or lead them towards an unexpected spike traps, cannons, and others.

The game additionally supports multiplayer feature, through which players can form guilds, apart from sharing armies and resources and more, to attack or defend enemy forces. Both PVP and PVE battles are offered.

Dungeon Keeper for Android requires Android version 2.3.3 or higher to run, while for iOS, the game is compatible with devices running iOS 5.0 or higher. Here are the Google Play and iTunes app store links for Dungeon Keeper for Android and Dungeon Keeper for iOS.

Last year, EA Sports announced the worldwide availability of FIFA 14 on mobile. FIFA 14 for mobile features the new, more intuitive Touch Flow Controls, which easily allow players to touch the screen to select players, tap to pass or defend, and swipe to shoot. The new controls within FIFA 14 on mobile also let players position an entire team instead of just one or two players.

FIFA 2014 for Android and iOS can be downloaded from here and here respectively.
